Innermost Parasol Dimmable LED Table Lamp, Red

A dimmable LED table lamp whose round reflector tilts freely like a parasol, guiding soft light where you need it.

Parasol by Jonas Forsman cradles soft, reflected light in a very literal parasol: a round white reflector on a slim stem above a red cylindrical base. The shade moves freely, so you tilt it to direct the light. An integrated LED (1100 lumens, 2700K) is dimmed with a rotary dimmer, and the lamp stands 19.75" tall with a 14.25" shade.

About the designer

Jonas Forsman is a Swedish designer whose work focuses on the interaction between person and object. With Parasol he wanted the lamp to delight through small, balanced movements: the shade tilts freely to send the light exactly where you want it.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Parasol is a simple, joyful lamp with a clever movement at its heart. Innermost was founded in London in 1999 by designers Steve Jones and Russell Cameron, who started out in an old lighting factory in Wembley and went on to work with designers from around the world who had made London their home. Its pieces hang in hotels, restaurants and shops from London to Dubai. Innermost has since closed, so what we have is the remaining new stock; once a finish sells out we cannot reorder it.

Buy once: durability and care

Dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth; for fingerprints use a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away. Never use abrasive pads, polish or solvent cleaners on the finish (our advice). Have a licensed electrician install hardwired fixtures.
