Carpyen FAQ

Is Carpyen lighting good for hotels and restaurants?

Yes. Carpyen designs for contract as well as homes, and its lights are used in hotels such as the Mercure Versailles, Paris J'adore and L'Esquisse. Our trade program helps with multi-room orders.

Which Carpyen lights can be used outdoors?

Look for the outdoor-rated models: the Boop! IP55 ceiling light, the Códol wall/ceiling light, the Venus wall/ceiling light and the cordless Alabast and Sasha portable lamps. Each page lists the IP rating.

What bulbs do Carpyen lamps take?

It depends on the model: many take a standard E26 bulb, others have an integrated LED. Each product page lists the light source, voltage and wattage.

How do I choose a Carpyen floor lamp for a living room?

For reading beside a chair, look at Carla (with its own side table), Tema or Greta; for an arc of light over a sofa or table, Robin or Totora; for soft ambient light, Isamu, Jerry or Nirvana.
