BLUNT is a New Zealand umbrella brand. Its patented rounded tips spread tension from the frame to the canopy edge, so the canopy stays taut and holds its shape in wind, and the rounded edge is safer in a crowd. The umbrellas are modular, so parts can be repaired rather than the whole umbrella replaced, and BLUNT rates its range to winds of 115 km/h (about 72 mph).
