Collection: KUON

KUON: hand-made brass objects of sound, scent and light from Takaoka, Japan.

KUON (空穏, “calm sky”) is the mindfulness and interior line of Yotsukawa Seisakusho, a copperware maker founded in 1946 in Kanaya-machi, Takaoka, the birthplace of the city’s metal-casting industry. Each piece is made by hand with Takaoka’s specialist artisans, so finishes vary slightly from one to the next. We’ve been curating design-led pieces since 2009.
