Teukho

Design sculpted by time. Teukho (teúkhō) turns fossil oak, trunks that lay buried in riverbeds for 7,000 years and more, into contemporary furniture and lighting, handcrafted in Italy. We have been curating design-led pieces since 2009, and Teukho is one of the rare brands whose material is as remarkable as its design.

Frequently asked questions

What is Teukho?

Teukho (teúkhō) is an Italian design company from Friuli, founded by the Garzitto timber family. It makes furniture and accessories from non-petrified fossil oak logs dating from 5000–6000 BC, handcrafted in Italy.

Which Teukho pieces do you carry?

The Lambda fossil oak LED table lamp, designed by Luca Degano, in Black, Brown and Black/Brown.

Are trees cut down to make Teukho products?

No. Teukho recovers ancient oak trunks preserved in river sediment and states that no trees have ever been felled for its pieces.

Is every Teukho lamp different?

Yes. Each fossil log has its own grain, color and texture, so every Lambda is unique.

How fast do Teukho lamps ship?

In-stock Teukho items ship in 2–3 business days.

Can I order Teukho for an office or hotel project?

Yes. Contact us about trade and project orders; we are an authorized Teukho retailer through its US distributor.
