West End Watch Co.: Swiss automatic watches with a soldier’s and a railwayman’s pedigree, since 1886.
West End began with Alcide Droz et Fils, which developed l’Impermeable, the world’s first waterproof watch, in 1864. Its success in British India gave the brand its name in 1886; its watches served the Indian Railways and military, 50,000 Sowars went to the Indian Cavalry in 1917, and in 1934 West End was the first to adopt the Incabloc shock-protection system. Every watch is assembled and tested in Leytron, Switzerland. We’ve been curating design-led pieces since 2009.
