Collection: Artemide Lighting

Artemide lighting, curated since 2009: every current Artemide North America item, grouped by model with all finishes, mounts and light sources on one page.

Artemide was founded in Milan in the 1960s by Ernesto Gismondi and is led today by Carlotta de Bevilacqua. Its "Human Light" philosophy and long list of patents sit behind design icons such as Eclisse (Vico Magistretti), Tolomeo (Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina), Tizio (Richard Sapper) and Pipe (Herzog & de Meuron).

  • Tolomeo With Shade: a Tolomeo Basculante sits on M's desk at MI6 in Skyfall (2012)
  • Nesso: seen in Paolo Sorrentino's La Grande Bellezza (2013); listed by the MoMA Design Store as part of MoMA's collection
  • Eclisse: in the collections of MoMA and The Metropolitan Museum of Art

Frequently asked questions

Are these genuine Artemide lights?

Yes. We are an authorized Artemide retailer and have sold design-led lighting since 2009. Every light ships new from Artemide North America with Artemide's 5-year limited warranty (upon registration).

How long do Artemide lights take to ship?

Quick Ship items leave Artemide's warehouse in 3–5 business days, standard items in 2–4 weeks, built-to-order pieces made in Canada in about 4–6 weeks, and special orders from Italy in 10–16 weeks (per Artemide's dealer price book), plus transit time. Each product page lists the lead time for every item number.

Where can I find spec sheets, IES files and installation guides?

Every Artemide page links Artemide's spec sheet, installation instructions and, where available, IES photometric files and 2D/3D CAD drawings, with a spec sheet for each item number at the end of the page.

Can special orders be changed or cancelled?

Special-order pieces are made in Italy just for you, so they can't be changed or cancelled once we place the order with Artemide. We're always happy to check finishes and options with you before you buy.

Do you work with designers and contractors?

Yes. Designers, architects and hospitality buyers can contact us for project quantities and mixed finishes. Send us your item numbers.
