Angie Thornbury and La Fête: Outdoor Lounge Pieces for Pools and Patios

Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, founder of La Fête Design

Angie Thornbury, ASID/CID, founded La Fête Design, and her training as an interior designer shows: every piece is a sculptural form that can be moved, mixed and regrouped. We specify La Fête for pools, patios, rooftops and resort projects.

“A Sun Pad to anchor the deck, Zig seats to build around it.”

Our rule of thumb

By the pool

The Sun Pad is a 78-inch round daybed kept low to the ground, a natural centerpiece for a pool deck. The Crib (queen) and Cot (twin) are resort beds with a thick, soft-cornered top that floats over a narrower base.

Loungers and lounge chairs

Modular seating for patios and hospitality

The Zig armless chair is the building block of the Z-Line, so you can start with a few seats and add to them, or begin with a ready-made cabana set. Pieces are finished in marine-grade vinyl and made in Valencia, California, and a worn or outdated cover can be replaced.
