Collection: Sophie Taeuber-Arp
Sophie Taeuber-Arp (1889–1943) was one of the most radically original artists of the 20th century — a central figure of the Dada movement whose work in painting, textile, sculpture, and design has only grown in recognition since her death. Through Zurich-based IC Design, a selection of her most significant design works are now available as licensed re-editions: her 1918 Dada Marionettes — 3 posable figurines originally created for a Dada staging of "King Stag" — and her 1929 wooden candlesticks, designed for her own home in Paris. These objects sit at the intersection of art history and everyday living. MetropolitanDecor.com carries Sophie Taeuber-Arp re-editions as an authorized retailer — MoMA-worthy pieces for the thoughtful home.
