Who this is not for

• Owners of laptops larger than 13 inches.
• Long rides in heavy, steady rain without a rain cover: water can get in through the seams.
• Anyone who wants an identical finish on every bag: the hand-rolled paint on cork makes each surface slightly different.

Why we carry it

We’ve been curating design-led pieces since 2009. Ucon Acrobatics is a Berlin design label known for minimal, city-ready backpacks and bags, built from recycled and vegan materials. The Bauhaus / Ucon Acrobatics collaboration is built around an unusual material: Portuguese cork, cut into thin layers, fixed to a silver waterproof film and then rolled with blue paint. The jagged cork texture makes every bag’s surface a little different.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe the cork surface gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth; avoid scrubbing or solvents so the painted cork keeps its texture. Empty the bag before cleaning and let it dry at room temperature, away from radiators.
