The TR19 is one of Tom Rossau’s most elegant pendants: a sturdy, more enclosed lamella shade in white coated Japanese paper. The white paper gives smooth, functional light that is equally good over a dining table and in a room with a higher ceiling, while the open spiral of strips keeps it light and sculptural. Choose 12.6", 15.75" or 20.9" across; the cut edges of each strip are left uncoated, a subtle handmade detail.

About the designer

Tom Rossau grew up in Odsherred, the curving coastal landscape north-west of Copenhagen that has drawn painters for generations, and his first lamps appeared in 2005. Every Tom Rossau lamp is still built by hand in the company’s own workshop on Frederiksberg Allé in Copenhagen, by a single lamp builder who signs the card that comes with it.
