The Ritz is where the NEOZ hospitality story starts. It was created in 2001 for the Rivoli Bar at The Ritz London, to match the classical grandeur and Art Deco elegance of the room, and it remains the most opulent piece in the collection. The base is hot-forged from a single ingot of brass, CNC-machined and polished, a substantial column with real presence, topped with a handmade parchment or pleated silk shade.

Buy once: durability and care

Dust the metal with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners; dust fabric or parchment shades with a soft brush. If you store the lamp for a while, NEOZ advises recharging it every two to three months and keeping it below 77 °F (25 °C). When the battery eventually tires (NEOZ suggests every three to five years), replace the battery, not the lamp.

The NEOZ Ritz was designed by Peter Ellis & Jackie Chan with Tessa Kennedy Associates. Every NEOZ lamp is drawn, engineered and hand-assembled by the company’s in-house design and engineering team in Terrey Hills, Sydney, led by founder and industrial designer Peter Ellis.

Do I need the charging base for the NEOZ Ritz?

Choose “Charging Base: Included” if this is your first NEOZ lamp. If you already own NEOZ bases, a charging tray or a trolley, choose “Not included”: the lamp works with all of them.

Can the NEOZ Ritz be used outdoors?

It is rated IP30, so use it indoors. Bring it inside before rain or heavy dew.

How long will the NEOZ Ritz battery last, and can it be replaced?

The Panasonic lithium-ion battery is rated for 500+ full charge cycles. NEOZ suggests replacing it roughly every three to five years with regular use, and it is replaceable, so you keep the lamp.
