Ladenac Colapesce Advent Calendar – 25 Scented Votives

Twenty-five days, twenty-five Ladenac fragrances: a limited-edition advent calendar of votives in cobalt blue and gold glass.

The Ladenac Colapesce Advent Calendar is the limited-edition Enchanted Odyssey gift box: 25 votive candles, each scented with a different Ladenac fragrance. Its design draws on the Sicilian legend of Colapesce, the man who lived by the sea, and on a constellation that guided navigators; underwater creatures are silk-screened on the cobalt blue and gold coated glass, which glows when the wick is lit.

Best for

December countdowns, holiday gifting for fragrance lovers, and anyone who wants to discover the whole Ladenac range before choosing a full-size candle.

Who this is not for

Anyone who wants a single long-burning candle (the distributor does not publish the votives' size or burn time), or anyone sensitive to fragrance. Box dimensions are 10.63 x 5.51 x 13.19 in (27 x 14 x 33.5 cm), so it needs counter or shelf space.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led pieces since 2009. It is the most generous introduction to Ladenac we know of, and the glass votives are pretty enough to keep and reuse.

Why it is worth the investment

Ladenac Milano is the home-fragrance house of perfumer Patrick Douenat, who has spent more than 30 years in luxury perfumery and set the brand's style in Milan. Its candles and diffusers are made in Spain from proprietary formulas that build on a candle-making tradition Ladenac traces back to 1884, in facilities certified to ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). In 2025, Ladenac's Bois de Russie was named Best Home Fragrance at the Premios Academia del Perfume, awarded by Spain's Fundación Academia del Perfume.

Twenty-five different Ladenac perfumes, including the award-winning Bois de Russie and the award-recognized Sicilian Cottage, in one limited-edition box: a complete tour of the house for less than the cost of collecting them one by one.

Buy once: care and safety

Our advice, as the distributor does not publish care instructions: burn each votive on a heat-safe surface, never unattended, away from drafts and anything flammable, and let the glass cool before handling.
