Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led pieces since 2009. Sicilian Cottage is the scent our team reaches for when a room needs warmth, and the gold jar looks at home anywhere.

Why it is worth the investment

Ladenac Milano is the home-fragrance house of perfumer Patrick Douenat, who has spent more than 30 years in luxury perfumery and set the brand's style in Milan. Its candles and diffusers are made in Spain from proprietary formulas that build on a candle-making tradition Ladenac traces back to 1884, in facilities certified to ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). In 2025, Ladenac's Bois de Russie was named Best Home Fragrance at the Premios Academia del Perfume, awarded by Spain's Fundación Academia del Perfume.

Sicilian Cottage was named one of the top three home fragrances at the XVII Premios Academia del Perfume 2024; perfumer Patrick Douenat. At $99 for a rated 70 hours, it works out to about $1.41 per hour of an award-recognized perfume.

Buy once: care and safety

Our advice, as the distributor does not publish candle care: let the wax melt edge to edge on the first burn, trim the wick before relighting, burn on a heat-safe surface away from drafts and anything flammable, and never leave it unattended.
