About the designer

Jake Phipps is a British designer whose work often plays with familiar objects. Jeeves and Wooster, named after P.G. Wodehouse’s famous valet and his master, became two of Innermost’s best-known designs, hung everywhere from Harvey Nichols in London to Google’s London office.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Jeeves is one of the most recognizable British designs of its era. Innermost was founded in London in 1999 by designers Steve Jones and Russell Cameron, who started out in an old lighting factory in Wembley and went on to work with designers from around the world who had made London their home. Its pieces hang in hotels, restaurants and shops from London to Dubai. Innermost has since closed, so what we have is the remaining new stock; once a finish sells out we cannot reorder it.

Buy once: durability and care

Remove dust from the felt with a soft brush or a lint roller; keep it dry and away from steam (our advice). Have a licensed electrician install hardwired fixtures.
