Buckle by Tina Leung is an ambient lighting sculpture, neither a classic up-light nor a downlight. A single integrated LED (15.5W, 800 lumens, 2800K) shines into a large form of laser-cut, mirror-polished stainless steel and white powder-coated surfaces, and the light bounces off its own internal curves. The effect is often compared to light reflecting off water. Buckle 120 is 47.25" across.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Buckle is the piece we suggest when a space needs art as much as light. Innermost was founded in London in 1999 by designers Steve Jones and Russell Cameron, who started out in an old lighting factory in Wembley and went on to work with designers from around the world who had made London their home. Its pieces hang in hotels, restaurants and shops from London to Dubai. Innermost has since closed, so what we have is the remaining new stock; once a finish sells out we cannot reorder it.

Buy once: durability and care

Dust with a soft, dry microfiber cloth; for fingerprints use a barely damp cloth and dry it straight away. Never use abrasive pads, polish or solvent cleaners on the finish (our advice). Have a licensed electrician install hardwired fixtures.
