blomus VISTA 5x Vanity Mirror, Swivel Stand

A rectangular 5x vanity mirror on a slim stand, with a ball hinge that tilts it to almost any angle and a magnetic back.

VISTA measures 11.4" × 4.3" × 5.5" and magnifies five times. A ball hinge behind the mirror lets you tilt and turn it to almost any angle, and the mirror lifts off its stand: its magnetic back holds on any metal surface. The base has a foam-rubber bottom that protects the counter. Choose brushed nickel-plated or polished chrome-plated steel.

The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s everyday pieces in close contact with the company’s own production know-how, which goes back to 1961, and keeps each series in the shared blomus color palette so pieces can be combined across collections.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. VISTA is a 5x vanity mirror we like for its flexibility: a ball hinge that tilts it to almost any angle, and a mirror that lifts off and sticks to any metal surface. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe the frame with a soft cloth and clean the glass with a glass cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners. The foam-rubber base protects the countertop and keeps the stand from sliding.
