The designer: Nina Thöming

Nina Thöming (born 1984) is an industrial designer at Flöz Design in Germany, a long-time design partner of blomus. For LAMURA she chose marble, the material of grand architecture and historic sculpture, and used it for the most ordinary objects in the bathroom, a deliberate touch of irony.

It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
