blomus MODO Wall-Mounted LED 5x Mirror, Rechargeable

A wall-mounted LED makeup mirror with 5x magnification, three light colors and a built-in rechargeable battery.

The MODO wall mirror puts a 7.9" round 5x mirror on an arm that projects 12" from the wall. Its LED light switches between warm 3000 K, neutral 4200 K and daylight 6000 K, with brightness from 500 to 1000 lumens, all by touch. A built-in battery charges with the included USB-C cable, so you need no outlet near the vanity. The mirror rotates on its arm and lifts off for hand-held use, and wall-mounting hardware is included. Choose matt or polished stainless steel, or titanium-coated Black or White.

The designer: Nina Thöming

Nina Thöming (born 1984) is an industrial designer at Flöz Design, a German studio with a long partnership with blomus. She starts from research into how people actually use a room and then shapes objects that solve that need quietly. Her blomus bath work includes MODO, SONO, MENOTO and LAMURA.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. MODO is the blomus bath line we recommend for a clean, architectural look: stainless steel or titanium-coated steel in crisp, functional shapes, with pieces that match from the sink to the shower. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe the frame with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry it; clean the mirror glass with a soft glass cloth. Keep the light unit away from running water and avoid abrasive cleaners. Charge it with the included USB-C cable from a standard USB port or adapter; blomus advises against fast-charge power bricks.
