A pair of clear-lacquered FSC oak salt and pepper mills with aluminum rings and adjustable ceramic grinders.

PEPE mills are slim columns of FSC-certified oak finished with a clear lacquer, with an aluminum ring that separates the lid from the body. Each is 2.1" across and 5.9" tall. The ceramic grinders adjust continuously from fine to coarse, and you refill them from the top under a removable lid. Laser-engraved S and P markings and a small blomus logo finish the pair.

Who designed it

Designed by studio blomus, the company’s in-house team of designers, product developers and engineers in Sundern, Germany. The team works to the blomus design DNA: honest materials, clear forms and colors that last.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. PEPE mills are slim columns of clear-lacquered FSC-certified oak with an aluminum ring and a ceramic grinder, a pairing of warm wood and precise mechanics. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a damp cloth; do not soak or put in the dishwasher, since water can crack wood. Natural oak grain varies from mill to mill.
