Who designed it

Designed by studio blomus, the company’s in-house team of designers, product developers and engineers in Sundern, Germany. The team works to the blomus design DNA: honest materials, clear forms and colors that last.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. MOLI mills are rounded, softly sculptural forms in color-lacquered FSC-certified ash, a Moonbeam salt mill and a Nomad pepper mill, each with an adjustable ceramic grinder. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a damp cloth; do not soak or put in the dishwasher, since water can crack wood. Natural wood grain varies from mill to mill.
