The designer: Nina Thöming
Nina Thöming (born 1984) is an industrial designer with Flöz Design, a German studio that has worked with blomus for about 15 years. She begins every project by researching what people need and where the market falls short, then turns those findings into objects that are useful first and beautiful too. Her other blomus designs include the PILAR tableware, the SPLASH carafe and the SONO bath range.

ALINJO turns oil and vinegar into something you are happy to leave on the table: clear glass shows what is inside, and a matte steel top pours a thin, controlled stream. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
