The FAROL table lamp stands about 13.3" high and 4.3" across, a slender aluminum column topped with a softly glowing shade. Touch the top to switch it on, adjust brightness and pick one of three light colors from 2700K to 4000K. It gives 130 lumens and runs 9.5–47.5 hours per charge, then recharges in about 4.5 hours on the included charging station. The designer: Peter Lienhart

Peter Lienhart (born 1969) holds a degree in industrial design from Pforzheim University in Germany. His work starts from pure shapes in which every detail has a reason, backed by long experience with the technical side of home products: for him, how a lamp works matters as much as how it looks. For blomus he has also designed the OKU oak boards.
