A two-tone throw handwoven in Italy from mostly recycled wool, with a cream reverse and a contrasting whip-stitched edge.

AHWI measures 57.1" × 78.7", large enough to cover a sofa or the end of a bed. It is handmade in Italy from 70% recycled wool, made from leftover production wool and post-consumer fibers, plus 25% polyamide and 5% other fibers. One side is color, the reverse a soft cream, and a contrasting whip stitch frames the edge. Choose Fungi (mushroom beige), Agave Green, Sharkskin (gray) or Midnight Navy.

The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s home pieces, from glass and ceramics to lighting and textiles, drawing on the company’s own design know-how that goes back to 1961.

It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
