This is the cord-hung Besa Lighting Domi, a 12-volt mini pendant with a low bell shape. Domi is a shallow bell, 5 inches across and under 3 inches deep. Chalk is a soft white opal cased glass with spiraling off-white strokes, giving a silky brushed pattern that comes alive when lit. White, Marble, Mocha, Cherry, Oak, Solare and Titan share the same shape. The glass measures 5 inches across and 2.875 inches high. It hangs on a 10-foot field-adjustable coaxial cord with a Teflon jacket in a tint that matches the finish, under a flat canopy; you trim the cord to your drop at installation, and the canopy installs to a standard 4-inch octagonal box and suits sloped ceilings.

Choose White, Marble, Mocha, Cherry, Chalk, Oak, Solare or Titan. It runs on 12 volts with a 60-watt transformer included, and dimming needs an ELV dimmer (not included). Choose the LED version (a 3W dimmable source is included) or the halogen version, which takes one 50W maximum GY6.35 bipin T-shape lamp. Our photos show the Satin Nickel finish; the other finishes share the same glass.

Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the glass cool, wipe it with a soft cloth lightly misted with glass cleaner (spray the cloth, not the fixture). Dust the cord and canopy with a dry cloth (our advice). Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
