This is the cord-hung Besa Lighting Brio 7, a wide, softly radiused foil glass. The shade measures 6.75" across and 3.625" high, and it hangs on a 10-foot field-adjustable coaxial cord with a Teflon jacket in a tint that matches the finish, under a flat canopy with a decorative sleeve at the socket holder. You trim the cord to your drop at installation, and the canopy installs to a standard 4-inch octagonal box and suits sloped ceilings.

Brio is a wide yet compact handcrafted glass, softly radiused to sit gracefully in contemporary rooms. Gold Foil is sparkling and metallic: distressed metal foil is applied to the inner surface of a glossy clear blown glass, so the finish is full of texture and depth while the outer surface stays smooth, and when lit the foil lets glimpses of light pass through. Silver Foil is the same glass in a cooler metal. It runs on 12 volts with a transformer included, and dimming needs an ELV dimmer (not included). Choose the LED version (a replaceable, dimmable 5W LED source is included) or the halogen version with a lamp of your choice (not included). Buy once: durability and care

With the power off and the glass cool, wipe it with a soft cloth lightly misted with glass cleaner (spray the cloth, not the fixture); the foil is on the inside, so never scrub the inside surface. Dust the cord and canopy with a dry cloth (our advice). Installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.
