Where the Wit 6 LED Linear Suspension works in the house

Kitchen islands. Hung level over the center of the island with the bottom 30–36 inches above the counter, a linear fixture keeps sightlines open and puts task light on the prep surface. Leave the stools and the cooktop hood out of its footprint.

Dining tables. Center it on the table's long axis and keep it shorter than the table so the ends stay clear. Dim it low for dinners; it carries a long room without a bulky chandelier.

Care, cleaning and upkeep

The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to buy or replace. Clean crystal or glass with a soft, lint-free cloth, power off and cool; avoid ammonia and abrasive cleaners (our advice). Dust the frame with a dry microfiber cloth, power off. Installation is hardwired, so use a licensed electrician.
