Where the Linger LED Vanity Sconce works in the house

Single vanities. Center the fixture over the mirror, no wider than the mirror itself, so faces are lit evenly.

Double vanities. Use one fixture above each sink, centered on the basin, or one above each mirror.

Powder rooms and guest baths. In a small room a single fixture with an even diffuser is often enough; add a dimmer for night use.

When another fixture is the better call

• Inside a shower or tub enclosure: it is rated for damp locations, not wet.
• Anyone who wants a different color temperature: it comes in 3000K only.

Care, cleaning and upkeep

The LED is built in, so there are no bulbs to replace (rated 50,000 hours to L70). Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, power off; avoid spraying glass cleaner directly onto the fixture in a steamy bathroom (our advice). Natural brass is a living finish that patinas with age; a brass cleaner restores it if the patina becomes uneven (Visual Comfort). Visual Comfort covers it with a 5-year warranty.
