Planning a Kable Lite run
Add up the lamp wattage on the run, keep the total under 80% of the transformer's 600 W rating, and feed the cable from both ends. Have a licensed electrician make the connections.
Questions about using it in your space
Why choose a dual-feed transformer for a long run?
In a single-feed system voltage can drop along a long cable, so heads at the far end look dimmer. Feeding the cable from both ends evens out the voltage, which matters for runs beyond roughly 20–25 feet or heavy loads spread along the cable.
How many MR16 LED heads can it power on one run?
At 10 W per head and an 80% load rule, it comfortably powers up to about 48 LED heads on a single long run.
Where does it belong in a layout?
Galleries, showrooms, boutiques, restaurant walls and long residential hallways with a Kable Lite cable run. Plan the cable, canopies and heads before you choose the transformer.
What dimmer should I use with it?
