Frequently asked questions

How many pucks do I need along a hallway?

Pablo does not publish a spacing chart. As a planning starting point, many installers place them about 6 to 8 ft (1.8 to 2.4 m) apart on one wall, then adjust after a mock-up. Each puck produces 500 lm.

Can I install it near a bathroom vanity or shower?

Yes near a vanity or mirror wall, since IP44 resists splashes. It is not rated for direct spray, so keep it out of the shower enclosure itself.

When do I pick the color temperature?

During installation. The 2700K, 3000K or 3500K choice is made on the fixture, so settle it with your electrician before the walls are closed up.

What is the difference between the faceplate options?

The canopy comes in Matte White, Dove Grey or Black. The faceplate either matches the canopy or adds Brushed Brass or Walnut Essence as an accent, which helps tie the puck to door hardware or cabinetry.

Is it suitable for public corridors and hotels?

Pablo lists the Totem Wall family as ADA compliant, with ETL and CE certification and a 120V to 277V input. Confirm local code and your project documents before specifying.

Can a glass diffuser be added later?

Pablo notes the Totem Wall system accepts add-on glass diffusers, so a puck can be paired with a Totem Sconce-style shade in the same project. Ask us which parts fit your selected finish.
