A hardwired wall sconce that is rated for baths and corridors, with a color temperature you choose at install and glass that keeps the glow soft.

We curate wall lighting for the places where lamps cannot go: either side of a bed, along a hotel corridor, beside a vanity mirror. Totem Sconce puts an integrated LED puck behind a mouth-blown glass shade, so the wall gets an even wash and the fixture stays glare-free. It is IP44 and ADA compliant, and one electrician visit sets the whole run.

Best for / where to use it

• Bathrooms and powder rooms: beside or above a mirror; IP44 handles splashes but not shower interiors.

Installation & planning

• Hardwired to a junction box; plan for a licensed electrician.
• Choose 2700K, 3000K or 3500K with the on-board switch before the glass goes on; it is not meant to be changed afterwards.
• Projection is only about 3.5 in (9 cm), so it suits narrow halls and tight bedside gaps.
• Specify a TRIAC/ELV or 0-10V dimmer that matches the circuit; ask us if your project needs DALI.
• Mount height is a design choice: roughly eye level in corridors, 60 to 66 in (152 to 168 cm) beside beds is a common starting point.

Who this is not for

• Plug-in installs: there is no cord option.
• Reading in bed: the wash is ambient, not a directed beam.
• Shower interiors or other wet zones.

Frequently asked questions

Which glass should I pick for a bathroom?

Etched White or Etched Smoke hide fingerprints and give the softest glow; gloss Clear and Smoke look sharper. All five are rated IP44 with the puck.

Can I change the color temperature after it is installed?

Plan to set it once. The 2700K, 3000K or 3500K switch sits on the puck and is reached before the shade is mounted, so decide with your client before the glass goes up.

Will it work in an accessible hotel corridor?

Pablo lists the Totem Sconce as ADA compliant, and its shallow 3.56 in (9 cm) wall projection keeps the path clear. Check your mounting height against local accessibility rules.

What dimmer should the electrician use?

TRIAC/ELV or 0-10V. DALI is available from Pablo on request, so tell us at quote time if your project is DALI-based.

How many do I need along a hallway?

Many designers space them roughly 6 to 8 ft (1.8 to 2.4 m) apart for a rhythm of soft pools; adjust to the length and ceiling height.

How is it different from the Totem Puck?

The Puck is the bare LED fixture. The Sconce adds the glass shade, so you get a luminous object rather than a flat disc on the wall.
