Why we carry it
We’ve been curating design-led lighting since 2009, and Original BTC is one of the few lighting brands that still makes its own pieces in Britain. Original BTC makes its bone china in its own factory in Stoke-on-Trent, the heart of British ceramics: liquid slip is poured into moulds, the pieces are dried, sponged, fettled and fired over several days.
Also in this family: Hector 30 Medium Dome Plug-In Wall Light, Hector 30 Medium Dome Wall Light, Hector Small Dome Wall Light with Switch, Hector Medium Dome Table Lamp.
Buy once: durability and care
Care advice from the distributor for the Hector range: switch off the power, then dust with a soft dry cloth or wipe with a cloth dampened with water only, and dry thoroughly. Bone china is fired ceramic, so handle the shade with the same care as fine tableware.
