Original BTC makes its bone china in its own factory in Stoke-on-Trent, the heart of British ceramics: liquid slip is poured into moulds, the pieces are dried, sponged, fettled and fired over several days.

Our advice: switch off the power, then dust with a soft dry cloth or wipe with a cloth dampened with water only, and dry thoroughly. Bone china is fired ceramic, so handle the shade with the same care as fine tableware.
