The Nova name goes back to 1923 and a Williamsburg, Brooklyn workshop. Mel Moskowitz moved west in 1956 to run the California side of the business, and the company now designs from Venice Beach under the Nova of California name. LED or incandescent?

Shop by lumens, not watts: lumens say how bright a bulb is, while watts only say how much power it pulls.
