The Nora Lighting NEFLINTW-S6 is a 6" FLIN Square Can-less Wafer LED Downlight, 1200lm / 13.5W, Selectable CCT, White Finish, 120V; Triac/ELV dimming. FLIN is a thin recessed LED designed for easy installation into new construction or remodel applications. Luminaires include a selectable CCT switch located on the junction box of each luminaire with a quick connect that allows for easy disconnect and mounting in the ceiling.

No. It is a can-less (wafer-style) downlight: it wires to its own junction box and mounts straight into a round hole in the ceiling, so it is ideal where there is little space above the drywall.
