Best for

Owners of a Bois de Russie diffuser, and anyone who loves the egg candles and wants the same scent in flame-free form.

Who this is not for

It is not a decorative diffuser: the 12.2-inch (31 cm) refill bottle is a functional container. Not for anyone sensitive to fragrance.

Why we carry it

We have been curating design-led pieces since 2009. Bois de Russie is one of Ladenac's best-loved scents, and the refill keeps it in the room long after a candle burns down.

Why it is worth the investment

Ladenac Milano is the home-fragrance house of perfumer Patrick Douenat, who has spent more than 30 years in luxury perfumery and set the brand's style in Milan. Its candles and diffusers are made in Spain from proprietary formulas that build on a candle-making tradition Ladenac traces back to 1884, in facilities certified to ISO 9001 (quality) and ISO 14001 (environmental management). In 2025, Ladenac's Bois de Russie was named Best Home Fragrance at the Premios Academia del Perfume, awarded by Spain's Fundación Academia del Perfume.

Bois de Russie won Best Home Fragrance (Mejor Perfume de Hogar) at the XVIII Premios Academia del Perfume 2025; perfumer Patrick Douenat. This refill lets you enjoy it flame-free in a reed diffuser, day and night.

Buy once: care and safety

Our advice, as the distributor does not publish instructions: pour slowly over a sink or towel, as fragrance oil can mark wood and stone; close the bottle tightly and store it upright away from heat and sun, out of reach of children and pets.
