Best for dining rooms, breakfast nooks and kitchen tables. Plan about 25" of table edge per chair and roughly 36" behind it to pull out and sit down (our advice).

Who this is not for

• Counter- or bar-height tables: the seat sits 19.7" off the floor, which suits standard dining height (28–30") only.
• Anyone who needs more than the 440 lb weight capacity TOV lists per chair.
• Outdoor use: this is indoor furniture; TOV makes separate outdoor dining chairs.

Why we carry it

Buy once: durability and care

Built with performance upholstery and handmade construction. TOV's care advice: blot spills right away with a clean, dry cloth (rubbing can push a stain deeper), vacuum with an upholstery attachment, keep the chair out of direct sun to limit fading, and test any cleaner on a hidden spot first. TOV also notes that, depending on the fabric, some pilling or crushing of the pile can occur over time.
