The Humble One puts all the attention on its bulb. Inside the simple base is a modular, battery-powered system: it dims in three steps, charges on a Qi pad or with the included USB-C cable in four to six hours, and is rated IP65, so it moves from the dinner table to the terrace. The bulb and the battery are replaceable, which is how Humble builds for a long life.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a soft cloth dampened only with water while the lamp is off; don’t use cleaning solvents on the base, bulb or shade, and let it air dry thoroughly (care notes from the US distributor). The battery, LED and other parts are replaceable, according to Humble, so a worn part doesn’t mean a new lamp.
