Light quality and how it performs

Naska is a true task lamp. The metal head is a shade and reflector in one, so it gathers the light from a single E26 bulb into a direct, focused beam with no spill into your eyes. Aim it at a page, a keyboard or a work surface and the light stays there, leaving the rest of the room calm.

Reach and adjustability. Two jointed arm segments let you raise, lower, extend and fold the lamp; on the Small each segment is 11.8 in (30 cm), on the Large 19.6 in (50 cm). The arm rotates on the base, and the head rotates and tilts, so you can swing the beam across a desk, point it at a wall to bounce light, or pull it down tight over close work. The on/off switch is a rotating knob on the head itself, right where your hand already is when you adjust the light.

Choose the bulb to suit the task: a 4000 K LED for crisp, focused desk work, or 2700 K to 3000 K for reading and a warmer bedside light. The lamp is not dimmable, so a lower-output bulb gives a softer result.

Care

Switch off and let the bulb and head cool before adjusting or cleaning. Dust the arms, joints and base with a dry microfibre cloth; for marks, use a cloth very lightly dampened with water and dry straight away.
