Light quality and how it performs

A milk-white diffuser sits at the centre of Blom and two coloured petals wrap around it. With the petals closed toward you, the light is screened and the lamp gives a soft, tinted glow, ideal at night. Turn the petals and the diffuser opens up, throwing more light onto the table and wall. That simple movement makes one small lamp useful for several moods without any controls beyond the switch on the cord. It takes a single E12 bulb up to 11W; a warm-white LED E12 keeps the polycarbonate petals cool and the glow cosy. Blom is a mood and accent light, not a task lamp.
