The EO Play Elephant Night Lamp in Blue was designed by Marc Venot, a Paris industrial designer who trained at ENSCI–Les Ateliers, worked with Hermès and Cartier before opening his studio in 2011, and was a 2016 laureate of the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris. It is cut from thick premium-grade leather and handmade in France, and a USB-rechargeable light source sits inside, dimming steplessly at a touch. EO (short for “Elements Optimal”) is a Danish design house founded in Copenhagen in 2013 by Nicole & Tor Vitner Servé. Its EO PLAY line is a luxury collection of design objects for children, made with independent designers from around the world.
