Why we carry it

We’ve been curating design-led pieces since 2009. Boyhood is a Danish design brand founded by designer Jakob Burgsø. It makes collectible wooden icons from solid FSC-certified wood, including officially licensed characters from some of the world’s best-known brands. We source every piece through Boyhood’s official US distributor.

Buy once: durability and care

To dust, wipe with a soft, clean, dry cloth. To remove marks, use only water on a soft, damp cloth and dry it thoroughly. Direct sunlight may change the color of the wood over time (US distributor’s care notes). Boyhood adds that solid wood should be kept away from direct heat such as wood-burning stoves and radiators, which can discolor and dry it out, and that small variations in grain and surface are part of the natural material.
