The seat is a flat steel surface that curves around the frame tubes, and fine steel wires form the back and arms, so the chair looks light and lets air through. The steel is galvanized and powder coated for outdoor use, and the chairs stack. Sold as a set of two in Granite Grey or Silk Grey.

The designers: kaschkasch

kaschkasch is a German design studio in Cologne, founded in 2011 by Florian Kallus (born 1983) and Sebastian Schneider (born 1985). The duo works across furniture, lighting and art direction for international brands and is known for simple, refined pieces that balance function and beauty. Their blomus work has won a Red Dot Award (ANI lamp, 2019) and, according to blomus, a German Design Award Special for the STAY outdoor range in 2021.

It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
