blomus TUBO Slim Steel Pedal Bin, 3 Liter

A slim 3-liter steel pedal bin with a silent soft-close lid, in matte bath colors or warm brass metallic.

TUBO is a compact cylinder, 6.7" across and 9.6" tall, that holds 0.8 gallon (3 liters) and fits into the tightest spot beside a toilet or vanity. A press of the pedal opens it, the soft-close lid shuts silently, and a plastic inner bucket lifts out for emptying and cleaning. It comes in matte Micro Chip, White, Black, Satellite and Magnet to match SONO, plus Brass Metallic; colors not shown are out of stock at blomus.

The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s everyday pieces in close contact with the company’s own production know-how, which goes back to 1961, and keeps each series in the shared blomus color palette so pieces can be combined across collections.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. TUBO is a compact steel pedal bin we suggest for small bathrooms: a slim 3-liter cylinder with a quiet soft-close lid, in metallic and matte colors that match blomus bath lines. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.

Buy once: durability and care

Wipe with a damp cloth; lift out the inner bucket to empty and clean it. The soft-close lid lowers itself gently, so there is no bang at night.
