A cordless LED lamp with a folded, paper-look shade in recycled polycarbonate, warm and dimmable, for indoors and out.
SANAKA is 6.7" × 6.7" and 7.3" high, its stacked, folded shade recalling the tiered roofs of Japanese tea houses and stone lanterns. The matte white shade is recycled polycarbonate: it looks like folded paper but is durable enough for the garden, and it diffuses the light softly. SANAKA gives 170 lumens of warm 2700K light, dims smoothly and runs 8.5–42.5 hours per charge. A full charge on the included station takes about 4 hours, and the touch switch sits discreetly on top.

Theresa Rand trained in her native Germany and in Copenhagen, where she now lives and works, so her designs join the Nordic eye for calm form with a German respect for function and quality. She favors classic shapes, natural materials and subtle colors, and likes objects that are simple and useful but still tell a small story. Her other blomus designs include the STELLA cutlery.
