A deep, wave-shaped stainless-steel fruit bowl in a lacquered Burnt Metallic finish, in two sizes.

The deep ONDEA bowl takes the same flowing curve as the ONDEA tray and lifts it higher: the Small is 9.7" × 9.3" and 4.1" deep, the Medium 11.8" × 11.8" and 5.7" deep, enough for a full load of oranges, apples or bread rolls. The lacquered Burnt Metallic finish reads warm gold in daylight and almost black by evening. It is food safe, with protective pads underneath, and looks its best layered with the flatter ONDEA tray.

The designer: Nicolai Fuhrmann

Nicolai Fuhrmann (born 1966) studied industrial design at the Braunschweig University of Art, worked with design studios in Barcelona, Milan and Zurich, and opened his own studio in Cologne in 2004. He designs objects with a clear purpose, where function and detail carry equal weight. He drew ONDEA for blomus in 2007; the series left the range in 2015 and has since returned, now also in Burnt Metallic.
