A shallow, wave-shaped stainless-steel tray-bowl for fruit or display, in brushed, polished or Burnt Metallic.

The ONDEA tray-bowl rises from a flat center into one rolling curve, so it holds fruit, bread or keys while reading as a sculpture on a table. The Small is 13.4" × 11.2" and 2.2" high; the Medium is 16.6" × 13.8" and 2.8" high. Choose brushed or polished stainless steel, the original 2007 finishes, or lacquered Burnt Metallic, which shifts between golden and almost black as the light changes. It is food safe and has protective pads underneath.

The designer: Nicolai Fuhrmann

Nicolai Fuhrmann (born 1966) studied industrial design at the Braunschweig University of Art, worked with design studios in Barcelona, Milan and Zurich, and opened his own studio in Cologne in 2004. He designs objects with a clear purpose, where function and detail carry equal weight. He drew ONDEA for blomus in 2007; the series left the range in 2015 and has since returned, now also in Burnt Metallic.
