The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. It develops many of the brand’s home pieces, from glass and tableware to textiles, drawing on the company’s design know-how that goes back to 1961.

FINHO earns its place with honest material: pure merino from non-mulesed sheep, woven in a classic herringbone that looks better the more it is used. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany: it started in 1921 with bicycle parts, turned to metal design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
