The design: studio blomus

studio blomus is the in-house design team at the blomus headquarters in Sundern, Germany. For the TEDDY storage pouf it kept the soft drum of the original TEDDY pouf and added a removable lid, so the same piece now stores as well as seats.

Why we carry it

We are an authorized blomus retailer and have been curating design-led pieces for the home since 2009. We picked the storage version of TEDDY for small apartments and busy family rooms, where every seat should earn its floor space twice. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany: it started in 1921 with bicycle parts, turned to copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
