CALLISTA is a hand-held squeezer in polished stainless steel, 6.9" long. Place half a lemon or lime between its two shell-shaped halves, press, and almost all of the juice runs out; a small lip stops seeds from following it into the bowl or glass. It is quick to use, easy to clean and handsome enough to leave on the counter. blomus CALLISTA lemon squeezer won a Red Dot Award for product design in 2011.

CALLISTA is a kitchen tool that looks like a sculpture: two shell-shaped halves of polished stainless steel that press a lemon, hold back the seeds and pour the juice. blomus is a family company run by the fourth generation of the Blome family in Sundern, Germany. It began in 1921 making bicycle parts, moved into copper, brass, pewter and stainless-steel design pieces in 1961, and has worked under the blomus name since 2000.
